our key responsibilities as the Cafe Manager are to:
• Proactive management of cafe team. Responsible for day to day operations, supporting, training and people development.
• Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships and client liaison.
• Accountable for maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget.
• Accountable managing breakfast, lunch and afternoon offer in line with company standards ensuring high standard of food presentation and portion/quality control
• Responsible for assisting General Manager to meet and exceed sales targets
• Responsible for working closely with company marketing team to create and maintain café marketing plan
• Work closely with kitchen and hospitality teams to ensure café is staffed and managed as per business requirements
• Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, allergen management, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues.
